I have compiled suse driver for AVM FRITZ ISDN V2 and it works fine,
with a very low echo but fine.

With a Kernel 2.4.17 I have configured ACTIVE CARD in the next way:

< > ICN 2B and 4B support
< > PCBIT-D support
< > Spellcaster support
< > IBM Active 2000 support
[ ] Eicon active card support
< > Auvertech TurboPAM support

<M> CAPI2.0 support

[*] Verbose reason code reporting (kernel size +=7K)

[*] CAPI2.0 Middleware support (EXPERIMENTAL)

<M> CAPI2.0 /dev/capi support

[*] CAPI2.0 filesystem support

<M> CAPI2.0 capidrv interface support

< > AVM B1 ISA support

< > AVM B1 PCI support

< > AVM T1/T1-B ISA support

< > AVM B1/M1/M2 PCMCIA support

< > AVM T1/T1-B PCI support

< > AVM C4/C2 support

One you have compiled kernel, you try to compile suse driver.

Hi All,

Has anyone had success with using the AVM Fritz PCI ISDN Card (v2) CAPI
drivers with a distro other than suse? The AVM driver is geared towards
suse, and after trying them with RedHat 9 I've not got very far. The
module compiles but dies when I attempt to modprobe it.

I've googled until I almost lost the will to live! What little
information I can find seems to refer back to RH6 / RH7 and is almost
exclusively in German. As my German is very poor it does make things a
little difficult!

Thanks,
Nathan.
