[Asterisk-Users] No Dialtone

When you take the phone off hook do you see any messages on the asterisk
screen ? Also when you press a digit do you hear it being generated by the
phone ? If not than it might be that you're using RJ11 connector that
didn't fit properly in RJ45 plug. Try to replug it and you'll hear a
'click' when you do it correctly.
