This question has been hashed out about 3 times in the last 1-2 months.
Please use the archives to familiarize yourself with the problems of
providing you specs for a setup based on your lacking description of
what you intend to do with it.
As for the simple question you pose on this email, yes you could run 2
E400P cards in the same machine. I believe Digium mention running 3 at
one time in a machine, but didn't recommend exceeding 2. At the lowest
level a E1 is just a 2mbit/s serial line. 8 * 2mbit is only 16mbit/s and
well below the data throughput of a bottom of the line NIC.
