No, * detects the call (Starting simple switch) immediately. After a few
seconds the call goes to s,1 of default. If I dial my extension digits real
quick - before call goes to default it works ok. Likewise, if I wait for
default to begin it dials ok. If I dial casually * attempts to dial the
digits pressed up to the point of going to default s,1 in which case the
call fails (or dials the wrong number if it exists).
