While I was pro debian, I was also pro slackware and pro gentoo. I also
mentioned that I suggest RH and Mandrake to new users.

I didn't go into the pros or cons of debain,slackware or gentoo. I just
said they where good.

Could you find fault with my comments, or where you upset I said them?

There was members of my local lug that also was annoyed at the debian
contigent. A few of them ended up moving to the BSD's. We are slowly
getting them back to linux, but when they come back they finally know
debian is the right choice. Of course they are doing large installs and
the apt tools help maintain it.
