[Asterisk-Users] IAXCLIENT/Win32 - Source Compile

After 3 hours trying to set up my Visual C++ to compile the IAXCLIENT/Win32
source code I had to call it a quit. The version I have of the source code
seems to be geared for Delphi. So I installed the "personal" version to no
avail. So, I switched back to Microsoft VC++ and I was making headway.
unistd.h was a problem. I had a file (unix) by that name from pearl so I
plugged it in and it caused a bunch of errors. The program was complaining
about winsock1 and winsock2 but I did get around those problems. Then it is
stuck in a "BOOL WINAPI _bla-bla that I could not find any definitions for
in the gnophone.
Does any body have a quicker way for me to compile?
THe reason I am doing it is because the binary/win32 I download does not do
any thing when I use the "preferences" tab with the Telefonie option. I am
trying to debug to figure out what is going on. Yes, I am using Direct9x.
The source I have comes with Direct8x. My compiler is Microsoft VisualC++
6.0. The Borland C++ compiler is version 5 (not Delphi).
I also downloaded the MinGW but without much documentation I was afraid to
try it.
Suggestions, solutions, ideas are welcome.
