Valcom also makes a device that will trigger a doorplate when it's 
rung.  I.e. you call the station, and the door opens.  All that remains 
is to get * to only ring the station from certain ANI.  However, I 
don't think it's wise to put physical security into the hands of caller 
ID - a savvy and dedicated burglar could spoof the system too easily.  
Instead, incorporate a PIN system or something.  (Not that that's so 
much better...)
