Hi Matthew,

I arranged a third party PRI to C7 converter for some time and when I use the same ckt in the following fashion it works OK

Asterisk <---E1/PRI--->PRI to C7 converter<----E1/C7--->PSTN

But when I connect this ckt to Asterisk's C7 directly, I get yellow alarm

Asterisk <---E1/C7--->PSTN

I tried with three different Digium's TE420 cards, all displayed the same problem. Am I missing some hardware settings in the Digium card ?

Perhaps Digium's TDM hardware is very sensitive to noise in the line. Can anyone recommend E1 line conditioner ?

thanks
