This branch it not intended to be used for final users anymore. No
more developement is done there.

This is not supported anymore. You need to get the patch (deprecated)
or get Asterisk 1.6.2 (supported,release version).

For a long time Moisés said it can't support it anymore since 1.6.2 it
out there and have native OpenR2 support.

Did you looked at doc/asterisk directory of OpenR2 distribution
package? There is a few examples. There are a lack of collaboration
from users providing us their samples so it can be included there.
