[asterisk-gui] cannot log in to the gui

Hi all 
I've downloaded the latest svn asterisk gui and installed it everything went ok.
when I run make checkconfig it says all ok and i should visit url 
localhost/asterisk/static/config
When I hit this url browser does not find it
However I created the directory myself and copied the install scripts in 
/var/lib/asterisk/static-http into it
Now i have the login window but when i enter the username and password it load a little bit and just display the login window with  my username and password
Any idea pleaze
