On the user tab - edit codec's part
keeps saying i've disallow:all even though some are enabled when i click
to add codec's it doesn't show which ones i've already allowed and all
are in the disallowed list box (this is just a visual thing as
asterisknow knows which codec's i've allowed)
users.conf
disallow=all
allow=ilbc,adpcm,g726,gsm,ulaw,alaw,speex,lpc10
how does this work how can all be disallowed but all be
allowed
there's an allow codec button (<), disallow codec button (>), disallow
all codec button (>>) but not an allow all codec (<<) button
by default when a new user is set up all codec's should be set to
allowed making it easier for a asterisk
novice to get up and running - when i set up a new user all codec's were
set to disallow and if i tried dailling (voicemail as a test) i got no
sound, when i allowed all codec's it worked and i got sound.
I'm using:
Asterisk Build:
Asterisk 1.4.4
Asterisk GUI-version Revision: SVN-branches_asterisknow+r2268
O and i'll stand down on the scrolling issue and get a bigger screen (or
tell me boss not to be so cheap)
