[asterisk-gui] trunk panel

You can use qualify (qualify time or yes like David said)

Also, if you create a "custom" TRUNK then it will work (if you put something in the IP field)

Subject: Re: [asterisk-gui] trunk panel

I have the same problem and I believe that it is a bug (or feature) of the way the GUI is building the table. The problem is that these trunks are "dynamic" and are therefore not included in the registry list (destinations to which the asterisk server has registered, as opposed to destinations that have registered with us).

The GUI does a "sip show registry" and gets a list of trunks that it has registered with... which excludes any "dynamic" trunks (because they register with us). So as it builds the table and checks for registry status, it comes up blank.

A more complete way to do it would be for the GUI to call "sip show peers" which would identify (by IP address) both the dynamic and non-dynamic trunks (and users, etc). If qualify=yes is set for the peer/user/trunk then this command would also give status and latency info as well.

This should perhaps be documented in digium's bug tracker.

Greetings,

I'm really impressed with the new status screen. It really looks awesome.

I have a minor question on the trunk panel, which actually predates the new format. (see attached screenshot ).

The first trunk (freeholdSIP -- outbound registration) is indeed registered according to sip show peers (see below). Any idea on why the disparity ? The second trunk (skone -- inbound registration) is often registered as well, but also shows "Unregistered" on this panel.

sk3*CLI> sip show peers

Name/username Host Dyn Nat ACL Port Status

116/116 (Unspecified) D 0 UNKNOWN

skoneA/skoneA (Unspecified) D 0 UNKNOWN

skone/skone (Unspecified) D 0 UNKNOWN

173 (Unspecified) D N 0 UNKNOWN

101/101 192.168.17.65 D 25095 OK (103 ms)

nwfreeholdsip/nwfreeholds 96.56.230.76 5060 OK (1 ms)

Thanks and Happy Holidays.
