[asterisk-gui] New Install on 1.6.0.3rc1 plus dahdi?

Hmm.  This version goes into an infinite loop cycling between
"Loading...", "Verifying dialplan contexts needed for GUI", and
"Checking write permission for GUI folder".  Tried using the unaltered
sample config files (except for manager.conf and http.conf), and it's
the same story.

I tried two other branches in rbrindley's folder and those both get
stuck at "Checking write permission for GUI folder".
