[asterisk-gui] Configuration API

Dear All,
 
My application has to manipulate asterisk configuration files, for example, create/edit users and extensions. I see two ways to do this: manager interface and AJAM. Which one should I use? I see users.conf example in AJAM. Does it support other files, for example, extensions.conf?
