[asterisk-gui] Feature Request: SIP Phone Configuration Extension

It would be nice to have an extensible mechanism within the Asterisk GUI 
to define the parameters needed to configure different types of SIP 
phones so that one could set these parameters using the Asterisk GUI and 
have Asterisk fire off a script to generate the appropriate config files 
for the phone in question (think of the Aastra, Grandstream, Linksys, or 
Polycom downloadable config files).

(Of course it's trivial to suggest features -- I'm too busy fighting 
crocs right now to start off on this project alone but if others are 
interested I might be able to help.)
