[asterisk-dev] How commiting new features to code

Since you're not familiar with the process I assume you're not a committer.
If you're not a committer here's the process:

Go to: http://issues.asterisk.org/
<http://issues.asterisk.org/>Create an account if you don't already have one
Sign the contributer license
Open an issue describing what you've fixed or enhanced and submit your code
as a patch (if it's not a bug fix then almost all patches are against trunk)
