The code works, but Russell has some ideas on improvement that goes beyond the code that exists in manager.c today. I don't disagree, but can not go ahead with this on the customer's time. I suggest we commit this and leave the improvement ideas for when anyone has time for it, since it applies to many areas in manager.c.
