This bug fix has been reversed because it caused problems in some
undocumented applications. 
 
Without the fix the sip registration request is not compliant with
rfc3261 and causes problems with other applications so I would like to
have a less disruptive version of this fix applied soon. 
 
Therefore could anyone who saw a problem after the patch was implemented
please send me the register string that they were using in sip.conf and
the nature of the failure so that I may understand the issues.
 
oej - can you recall the purpose of revision 126902 in chan_sip.c
dvossel - may I see an example of sip.conf from your test lab
