I'd be all for the tags since if someone has put some good thought and
effort into their post then adding a tag is a tiny bit of effort. If
on the other hand it's someone wanting end user help but that couldn't
be bothered to determine the right list they probably also won't be
bothered to tag.

And then there the other searching and ease of scanning for relavent
posts already mentioned. I'd think that anybody that likes the idea
would use it and those that don't wouldn't no harm done either way :).
