[asterisk-dev] wctdm 4/8/24 VMWI generation capabilities

Now I'm confused, Tzafrir confirms that it's not supported, only supported
by xpp/card_fxs.c

Can you give us a pointer has to how 'VMWI' is generated on an FXS port? How
it's turns on the MWI light on the attached analog phone.

This has been supported for a very long time.  Take a look in
chan_dahdi in Asterisk to see the related code.
