I agree with Mihai and Philippe in regards to testing.

I would like to see some test harnesses exist to really wring out
various aspects of atserisk code. I would do what I could to donate a
machine to run regular testing.

The BOOST (www.boost.org) libraries are tested in this way. So, for any
given release or snapshot, the libraries get tested on many OS's and
many compilers to ensure the libraries work and for as many people as
possible.
