Greetings,

I have finished the first version of my Astxx library after just under
two years of working on it (on and off, mostly off). The goal of Astxx
is to provide a fully functional and easy to use C++ wrapper for
Asterisk enabling developers to write Asterisk related software using
the full range of what C++ has to offer. This includes AGI scripts,
accessing the Manager API, writing ExternalIVR scripts, writing IAX
clients, and writing Asterisk modules.

Currently the library only supports AGI and parts of the Manager
Interface. ExternalIVR will probably be the next thing I do.

The code can be downloaded from http://matt-land.com/astxx or from my
monotone repository (instructions on the website). Most of the
functionality is documented. If you are interested, please check it out
and send feedback.

P.S. Sorry for the cross post, please cc me on replies as I am not
subscribed to asterisk-users, I am only on asterisk-dev.
