[asterisk-dev] AMR support in Asterisk-SVN (codec_amr.so)

I am aware there are issues, however rather than paralysing  
development while figuring out how to handle them, I decided to go  
ahead. Of the other low bandwidth codecs supported by the Nokia E- 
series, AMR provides the best perceptual quality in my experience,  
hence the drive to get it to work.

The URL posted earlier covers the patent/licensing well issues I  
think, and at some point we can get to that.
