[asterisk-dev] Picked up (call connected) event in asterisk

Hello ,
  i m using asterisk along with ccxml(call control
XML) to develop a application.I want to invoke an
event "connection.connected"(in ccxml which is for
indicating a call is connected).But asterisk does no
return when a call wz picked up(to my knowledge).
  I returns from "EXEC Dial"(in AGI script) after the
call is completed(picked up and then disconnected) or
if the call is not picked up for the specified time.Is
there any method to get event from asterisk when the
call is picked up.
