First, let me request once again for people to try to avoid using
'stable' as a label for our release branches. We maintain two release
branches now so 'stable' is ambiguous at best, but it also causes users
to assume that the code is perfect at all times, which it most certainly
is not. Please use the term 'release branch' when referring to
non-development branches :-)

Second, the failure here is mine. I did some cleanup work on Jason's
code over the weekend and fixed some problems where it would leak
memory, but did not thoroughly test my changes. We got so wrapped up in
getting the security releases out yesterday that I overlooked building
and testing those changes.
