Cool.. Figured I would grab the latest SVN and rebuild this morning.. got 
the following;

make[1]: res_convert.c: Timestamp out of range; substituting 1969-12-31 
19:00:00
   [CC] res_convert.c -> res_convert.o
cc1: res_convert.c: Value too large for defined data type
make[1]: *** [res_convert.o] Error 1
make: *** [res] Error 2
