[asterisk-dev] Out of tree applications

I'm maintaining an application that I do not expect would be
accepted into -addons.  So, I've finished implimenting the new
build system for this application, and it works fine, but it
seems like a lot to maintain for a single small application.

Since I am not a Makefile or autoconf expert, I am curious if
there is a way to create a reduced build environment that would
leverage the Asterisk or -addons build process.
