 Asterisk and any other HMP modeled IPPBX isn't going to play well
with other applications running on the same box on which it's running
on. When you say piggy-back I'd hope you mean by adding an additional
server? Otherwise, you're really bound to have trouble at some point
because with most applications when they don't get the CPU cycles
they're looking for they're just "slow". With an IPPBX in an HMP
environment, you're going to drop calls and have horrible sound
quality and that probably isn't going to be tolerable.
