It is trivial to send commands. It is also rather trivial to allow the
user to hook on events. However it is less than trivial to return a nice
return value on a command you've sent.

Some language bindings simply assume that the next response after the
set command will be the response to the command. Which will normally
work :-( .

BTW: anybody using any decent manager binding for perl?
