Hello,
We have used OH323 extensively which adds in its media capabilities
various flavors of G729, and at the same time we used the G729A codec
from Digium. In all cases we have made successful calls to and from Cisco
and other equipment with various G729 codecs other than G729A and it
worked fine. According to the G729 standard, all G729 flavors should be
bitstream compatible, AFAIK. Could this mean that the G729A codec from
Digium could be used to code/decode any G729 codec?
Best regards,
