note that this code seems to be linux-specific; i don't see
prctl() documented on any *BSD manpage, and it doesn't compile
on freebsd, anyways.

It would be nice if you could #ifdef linux/#endif the #include
and the actual prctl call. I just sent a patch to kevin, don't
think it is necessary to submit a report on mantis as it is trivial...
