Implementations of jitter buffering are not the problem. Getting 
anything useful into SVN is the problem.

This jitter buffer has been known about since the time it was first 
being developed. People have been using various jitter buffers outside 
the Asterisk SVN for some time. The one at speakup.nl is probably the 
best that is fully implemented right now (though I think much better 
results are possible). The real issue is whether it is possible to pass 
the supreme quality standards needed for it to be committed to SVN. It 
would need disclaiming, too, of course.
