I dont really think that the asterisk svn merge could be a good choice 
for the project.
The are alot of third-party channel that are great projects (e.g. 
chan_capi) and they are extending the support to the openPBX project 
too. In my point of view adding the project to the asterisk svncommunity 
would be a limit, not an improvement.

So I'll keep working on the chan_sccp project and I will extend the 
support to the openPBX code.
