This is a message I receive from and Asterisk at Home user. The message
appears to be an invalid format. Missing a linefeed at the end of the
call-id. The issue is that asterisk 1.0.9 allocates a SIP structure for the
message. But since the Message is invalid there is no further processing of
the message. The channel is created, but never destroyed. After a few
hours Asterisk will crash with an unable to allocate sip structure messages.
I really do not know enough about the sip message handling to be of any use
other than to report the issue. Any suggestions from the group will be
helpful.

Thanks in advance,

Gene
