[Asterisk-Dev] Asterisk re-compile ?

hi!
just new to asterisk-dev.
I have made some changes in asterisk/apps/app_echo.c, to see some changes.
do I need to compile asterisk again, If no then how do I compile only
app_echo.c alone?
