Also, it doesn't 'save many cpu and bandwidth', it will save 'many cpu'
OR 'many bandwidth' but not both.
Generally, you only use CPU in order to transcode, which usually implies
some form of compression. So, in your example (gsm -> ulaw) you are
using less bandwidth and more CPU as compared to your desired result
(ulaw -> ulaw) where you use more bandwidth and less cpu...
Also, you might prefer to use gsm and use more cpu, since bandwidth may
be expensive/limited, so even if this is worked on, we need a method to
specify that we always prefer codec's in this order, even if it means
trans-coding....
