They were addressed earlier in this thread; check the archives for the 
discussion. They are not bugs, they are design differences. Some of them 
may be addressable, and other not, without changing its architecture to 
be more like app_meetme (which would not be a desired path).

You will not be able to make app_meetme not depend on Zaptel; it uses 
Zaptel for the entire mixing/talk-detection functionality, and provides 
vastly better performance when mixing Zaptel channels than any solution 
running inside Asterisk can ever do.

The other distros seem to have no trouble packaging Zaptel, including 
Debian which tends to have a much more strict policy about that sort of 
thing than Fedora. It certainly would be less useful for an end user to 
have to install Zaptel from source after installing Asterisk from an RPM.
