[Asterisk-Dev] problem using ExtensionState

I have asterisk and my phone is connected to an fxs port on a Digium
400P card.  Now if I use the manager call EXtensionState in an agi
script to see whether the extension is in use, but the problem is
thatthe extensionis reported available even when I am on a call!

I am using the latest CVS of the Zaptel drivers, kernel 2.6.12.3 and
the latest CVS of asterisk.

Any assistance would be appreciated.
