[Asterisk-Dev] Thoughts on a context for dialplan execution upon a sip or iax register?

I've been thinking about the usefulness of the ability to execute
dialplan
functions based upon a SIP or IAX register event.

I was thinking of something on the order of the following:

Upon a successful SIP or IAX register event, enter a special context
as set
in the SIP or IAX entry.

register=>xyz:abc at 1.2.3.4,context=sip-reg

[sip-reg]

exten => _X.,1,SetVar(.........)

etc.

Anyone else have any thoughts on the value of such a beast?
