I have been following this thread and was wondering what stage the new
version of manager interface is in.

Is it just being talked about or have people started coding. Whilst I
think it is an excellent idea, and agree that the current interface
needs re-doing. I would suggest that the design of the new interface
is thoroughly talked through rather than just coded.
