Last time I checked he was merely making a point or demonstrating an
EXAMPLE. I think you are blowing this whole legality mess out of the water
and taking it to extremes that need not be reached.
Perhaps you really are a dick of a person and would sue someone on the
subway if they sneezed on you.

It's emails like this that prove my point. In this case, the author has
used the word 'illegal' rather then 'potentially illegal' or 'allegedly
illegal'. Now both the author and Digium really could be at risk, but
because I'm not a malicious blood thirsty mega corporation with a legal
department the size of a small town, I'll choose to forgive you both and not
sue.
Although my suggestions might be slightly biased, you will find that upon
analysing them objectively they are also quite practical and offer some very
real benefits.
