Lately I have talked to the call center director of the company I work for,
explaining the 1001 advantages if we have an open source solution running,
giving us several options beside the proprietary systems we have used
the last years. Initially I thought to try making the dialogic boards we
have to run, but the linux world doesn't have too much options for those
boards.
Several systems in the company are open source/free software already. Mail
servers, firewall, dhcp servers, etc..etc... but in the telephony area,
nothing.
So, I got to convince him that we need a test environment for that.
What I didn't get to convince him yet is to buy a T100 unless we can prove
that it really works with NTT including ANI compatibility.
Then, answering you, it's available from now to be used at any time.
The call center is in Nagoya.
