[Asterisk-Dev] Fedora 2 udev support

I just compiled the zaptel source on Fedora Core 2. No significant
problems
until I tried to run some applications. It appears that several of the
applications
have hard coded "/dev/zap/..." in their calls to open. In FC2, it
appears that
udevd creates the zap directory and devices in /udev, thus breaking the
hard coded applications.

This is easy to fix. I was just wondering if this has already been
addressed.
I couldn't seem to find it in the "archives". I'm using the
Asterisk-1.0 head, so
perhaps I should be using a later version?

Any advice would be appreciated.
