Hello Sir,

 I am gettting an error when I tried to establish a
call between asterisk and SIP phone.

"chan_sip.c:595 __sip_xmit: sip_xmit of 0x815008c (len
342,to 172.27.22.232 returned -1: Bad file descriptor
"


In sip.conf , I have the following configuration.

[venkat]
type=friend
context=from-sip
fromuser=venkat
callerid=234
host=172.27.22.232
nat=no
canreinvite=yes
dtmfmode=info
incominglimit=1
mailbox=234 at default
disallow=all
allow=alaw
allow=g723.1
allow=ulaw
allow=g729


In extensions.conf, I have the following

exten => 5454,1,Wait,10
exten => 5454,2,Dial(SIP/172.27.22.232,30)


After staring asterisk I typeded Dial 5454 at the *CLI
prompt. Than I am getting that error.
What may be the problem.
Please help me out.
