[Asterisk-Dev] New to Asterisk - DPNSS question

Hi All,

I am totally new to Asterisk, and after going through archived mailing list 
messages and
web searches, it seem that the Digum cards DO NOT support DPNSS.

My only question is :

Just like libPRI was written to support ISDN, is it possible to write a 
DPNSS library
for the tormenta  hardware ?

Or is it a limitation of the hardware interface itself which prevents DPNSS 
?
