I disagree about the snooping thing.  I have been in hundreds of phone
closets and a great many have been "secured" facilities.  Only twice have I
been asked for ID and only once did they require a real driver's license and
not a company ID and then contact the management for escort and
verification.

Usually and ironically my butt set and cloths served as ID.
