We (probably) fried the ethernet port a SNOM 220 which is 48V AND POE
enabled by powering it it from a CISCO POE switch..... All non POE
phones work fine...
It seems there are 4!!! standards for POE which are not compatible:
• IEEE standardized Power over Ethernet IEEE 802.3af (snom220, snom200)
• Non standard capacitive solution (snom100,snom105)
• Cisco Proprietary Inline Power over Ethernet
• Cisco Proprietary Spare Line Power over Ethernet
