Hi. We're looking for someone with strong Unix programming skills and
at least some familiarity with asterisk to help us maintain and
enhance our voicemail and conferencing application that runs under
asterisk and uses its C API. A strong telecom background would help
too.
Sometimes we just need changes made to our code to track changes in
asterisk. For example, asterisk no longer allows us to use
gethostbyname(), so we need to figure out how to work around this
limitation, given that we have a common set of routines we use in all
our programs that makes use of gethostbyname().
We also have many ideas on ways to enhance our program, but need
someone capable of putting these ideas into source code. Other
projects include updating our administrative web interface (uses Perl
and PHP), and entirely new products that would make use of asterisk's
manager interface.
We have enough of a backlog that this could be a full-time job, but
we'd also welcome someone with time to spare who could make a minimum
time commitment to our project.
This work could be performed at our offices in San Diego, California,
or be done remotely. Full-time employment, with benefits, is possible.
Please send relevant information by email to jobs at telemsg.com .
Thank you.
