[Asterisk-Dev] Line count for asterisk

My crude attempt at a line # count of current asterisk source code 
came out to about 163,000 lines.  I simply looked at every .c file 
under the asterisk source directory and ran a "wc" on it via a set of 
ugly command line kludges.

This is not for anything other than my amusement.  Are there any 
better or more standardized ways of determining how many lines of 
code are in a project?
