[Asterisk-Dev] Question on chan_zap and do_monitor thread behavior

Question for chan_zap developers in the know.

I can tell that chan_zap starts a thread with
do_monitor for the VMWI stuff, etc however, it seems
to periodically kind-of participate in the hangup of a
call with a disabled echo cancellation on channel X.

Does not seem to hurt anything but it happens
occasionally, not all the time.  Not sure if this is
planned, byproduct, OK behavior, or a problem. 

If this warrants further investigation, please let me
know..
